In SPP master mode, the scanner initiates the radio connection request to a r emo t e slave device. Please choose your desired interface cable, then plug it in t o t he host interfa ce port o f the smart crad le and connect it t o the host device. T urn on the powe r of your host dev ice. Please note that the sca nner has been pr e -paired already, if the scanner is shipped togethe r w ith the s m ar t cradl e. Y ou will see the link indicator of scanner gives 1 blue blink per 2. 5 seconds and t h e middle indicator of smart cradle turns steady blue. If the scanner and smart cradle just g iv e alternating red and green blinks (in “ Uninst all ” sta te), please follow step s 5-6 t o es tablish the con nection betw een the scanner and the s mart cradle. Scan “P AIR mode” command. T he s tatus indicator of scanne r will turn steady r ed. Uninstall P AIR Mode Place the scanner on the smart c r adl e, then you wil l hear one short beep t o ind icate the pai r in g pr ocess is activated.

The scanner w ill g iv e continuous shor t clicks and the link indicato r of scanne r wil l flash blue q uic k ly during the pairin g process. W h en you hea r 4 beeps in ascending tone, the pa iring process is completed. Y ou w ill see the link indicator of scanne r giving 1 blue bl i nk pe r 2.5 seconds and the center indicator of the smar t cradle turning stead y blue. If the scanner p airing process fail ed or i t’s not placed on t he s mart cradle within 20 seconds, y ou will hear 2 “Di-do Di - do” beeps t o indi cate pair failure, the scanner w ill return to uninstall s tate automatically. Scan the correspon ding host interface quic k set c ommand to complete the in stallation. The default host interface of s mart cradle is preset to USB HID. If you wan t to set the host int er face to US B COM, y ou have to install the USB virtual CO M driver into your ho st dev ice before using the sc anner. If the sca nner is not in uninstal l sta te, please scan the “Uninstal l” command to un-pair the scanner. Then scan the “PIC O m ode ” command, and the st atus indicator o f scanne r will turn steady red. Uninstall PICO Mode Place the scanner on the smart c r adl e, then you wil l hear one short beep t o ind icate the pai r in g pr ocess is activated. Y ou w ill see the link indicator of scanne r giving 1 blue blink per 2.5 seconds, the center indicator o f the sma rt cra dle turning steady blue and its side indicato r s turning steady green.
